Brazilian Favela Resident Becomes Algarve Restaurant Owner
Gleidson Messias, who moved to Portugal in 2004 from a Brazilian favela, and his wife Simone, have successfully run Restaurante Popular in Loulé for three years, featuring unique decor made from recycled materials and mosaics.
