Evropska komisija je predstavila nekoliko opcija za nastavak procesa proširenja Evropske unije (EU) državama članicama, ali se čini da one nisu voljne da menjaju pravila igre, iako su neki kandidati za članstvo, poput Srbije, već izrazili spremnost da uđu u taj blok bez određenih prava, saznaje Radio Slobodna Evropa (RSE) od diplomatskih izvora u Briselu.
