
NASA Expands Lunar Mission Contracts and Plans for Moon Base
NASA has announced new missions and awarded contracts totaling over $600 million to US companies Astrobotic, Firefly, and Intuitive Machines to advance the development of a permanent lunar base. The agency has also agreed with three space industry companies to launch four scientific missions to the Moon by the end of 2028, bringing the total planned missions to 17.
