Mysterious Eagle Ray Dental Plates Found In Venezuela

In 2014, dental plates from an unidentified eagle ray were recovered off Venezuela and later identified as belonging to the genus Aetomylaeus, marking the first evidence of this group in the Caribbean and Western Atlantic.
