Biopic Planned for Legendary Ahom Commander Lachit Borphukan
A biopic is reportedly in the works for Lachit Borphukan, the legendary Ahom commander who led Assam's forces to a historic victory against the Mughals in the Battle of Saraighat. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has indicated that filmmaker Aditya Dhar is being considered for the project.
