India Announces Four New Astronomy Facilities Worth ₹3,500 Crore

India's Union Budget has announced the establishment of four new astronomy facilities, projected to cost ₹3,500 crore and be completed over a period of three to thirteen years, according to IIA Director Professor Annapurni Subramaniam.
