Lazarim Mask Tradition Exhibited, Recalling 'Clandestine' Use During Estado Novo

The Iberian Mask Interpretive Center is exhibiting the Lazarim mask, a traditional Carnival item whose use was restricted and often clandestine during Portugal's Estado Novo regime.
