Outdoor Air Pollution Costs Ghana GH¢28 Billion in 2024, UNDP Reports
A United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) report indicates that outdoor air pollution cost Ghana an estimated GH¢28 billion (US$1.9 billion) in economic losses in 2024, representing about 2.3 percent of the country’s GDP, and claimed nearly 13,000 lives.
