Early Sign of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's Diseases Identified
A discrete and early signal of neurodegenerative diseases, olfactory dysfunction, has been identified, potentially appearing up to ten years before other characteristic symptoms. It is present in approximately 90% of Parkinson's patients in the early stages.
