The national dawn minimum and the capital's daytime maximum temperature records were broken again on Tuesday
In Újpest on Tuesday, the daily Budapest maximum temperature record was broken with 40.3 degrees Celsius. The previous record was also in Újpest in 2017, when the temperature rose to 39.8 degrees Celsius.
