Experts Committee on Revised 'Life-Sustaining Treatment' Guidelines: 'Respect Patient's Wishes'
An expert committee that revised the draft of new guidelines for determining whether to provide treatment to patients with no hope of recovery in emergency medical settings held a press conference in Yokohama on the 7th, stating the significance of the revision: 'We want to create guidelines that respect the patient's wishes in decisions about life-sustaining treatment.'
