Over 11,000 Welfare Payments Cut for Non-Engagement with Employment Services
More than 11,000 individuals in Ireland have had their welfare payments reduced due to their failure to engage with employment services. Freedom of Information figures reveal that the number of payment reductions more than doubled as the department intensified its crackdown on non-cooperation.
