Austrian Study Reveals Widespread Problematic Social Media Use Among Youth, Benefits of Phone-Free Periods

An Austrian experiment, 'ORF-Dok-1-Handyexperiment,' found that 74 percent of young users exhibit problematic social media consumption. The study, scientifically supported by the Anton Proksch Institute, concluded that abstaining from mobile phones for three weeks led to improved sleep, overall well-being, and fewer depressive phases.
