India SC Affirms Right to Be Heard for PMLA Accused
India's Supreme Court has ruled that individuals accused under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) possess the right to be heard before charges are formally recognized. This decision extends the principles of the new Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS) to PMLA cases.
