Brooklyn's Adam Cowper wins OHSAA D-II state bowling championship

Brooklyn senior Adam Cowper carried the torch for Northeast Ohio at the OHSAA Division II state bowling championships, winning the individual boys title Friday with a total score of 729. Cowper's three games were highlighted by a 279 showing in his second turn on the lane — the highest 10-frame outing by any boys competitor in Columbus during the tournament.
