Elderly Polish Woman Scammed with Fake Insurance Payout

An 84-year-old woman in Poland was defrauded after being told she was due €26,000 from her deceased husband's insurance, for which she paid 6,000 PLN, only to later discover the received banknotes were fake.

Przyszedł do mieszkania 84-latki i powiedział, że należy jej się 26 tysięcy euro z tytułu "ubezpieczenia po zmarłym mężu". Musiała tylko zapłacić sześć tysięcy złotych. Tak też zrobiła i dostała obiecane "pieniądze". Dopiero później zauważyła, że to banknoty z gry planszowej.
