ESO Explains False Power Restoration SMS Notifications Sent to Lithuanian Residents

The national grid operator ESO clarified why storm-hit residents sometimes receive misleading text messages claiming electricity has been restored when it remains offline.

Gyventojai, po audros laukiantys elektros tiekimo atkūrimo, kartais gauna SMS žinutę, kad elektros tiekimo sutrikimas pašalintas, nors jų namuose elektros vis dar nėra. „Energijos skirstymo operatorius“ (ESO) paaiškina, kodėl taip gali nutikti ir ką tokiu atveju reikėtų daryti. Svarbu: kompensacijų mokėjimams tokia SMS įtakos neturės, jei elektros tiekimas buvo sutrikęs ilgiau nei 72 val.
