EU and Euro Area Economic Momentum Slows in Early 2026
Eurostat reported that the seasonally adjusted GDP in both the euro area and the wider EU increased by only 0.1 percent in the first quarter of 2026, indicating a loss of economic momentum compared to the previous quarter.
