EU Proposal to Strictly Define Cider Draws Opposition from Finnish Politicians
The European Commission's proposal to define cider more strictly, allowing only drinks made primarily from apple or pear juice to be called 'cider,' has met with opposition. Finnish politicians Pekka Toveri and Sebastian Tynkkynen are among those against the measure.
