European Public Prosecutor's Office Reports Tripled Budget Damage from Fraud
The European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO) reported 3,602 investigations in 2025, with an estimated damage of 67.27 billion euros, a threefold increase from the previous year, primarily due to customs fraud and VAT evasion.
