Finland had the highest unemployment rate in the euro area in July, with 10.5% of its labour force out of work, Eurostat data published on Tuesday showed. The rate was unchanged from June and stood well above the euro-area average of 6.4%. Spain followed at 10.0%, while France recorded 8.3%. Across the European Union, Finland also had the highest unemployment rate among countries with monthly data available. Sweden stood at 8.7%, while Greece recorded 7.9%.
