Wildfire in France's Var department forces evacuations
A wildfire in France's mountainous southeastern Var department, which had previously been brought under control, flared up again, forcing authorities to evacuate nearly 2,500 people overnight. Most of the 224,000 evacuees have since been allowed to return home.
