(ANSA) - ROME, MAY 28 - An Italian contractor, Alex Pineschi, has been killed fightin for Ukraine, the latest in a string of Italian casualties in the war against Russia, the Memorial Volunteer Association announced Thursday. "Our beloved brother died on the battlefield," it said. Pineschi volunteered to defend Ukraine after Russia's invasion in 2022.
