New border guards take oath at Latvian college

New border guards took a solemn oath at the State Border Guard College in Latvia, ahead of the anniversary of the restoration of Latvia's independence. Out of 35 cadets admitted, 29 took the oath.

Sagaidot Latvijas Republikas Neatkarības atjaunošanas gadadienu, Valsts robežsardzes koledžā jaunie robežsargi deva svinīgo zvērestu. Lai arī ziemā programmā uzņemti 35 kadeti, zvērestu deva 29, jo seši kadeti jau iepriekš to bija devuši kā karavīri vai zemessargi. Taču kādā rēzekniešu ģimenē zvērests dots jau otro reizi gada laikā.
