Swiss Federal Council to Decide on Second Long-Range Air Defense System

The Swiss Federal Council is expected to decide by the end of the year on acquiring a second long-range air defense system, following an analysis by the VBS which noted a 'slightly positive trend' in major projects, except for ground-based air defense.
