Portuguese Socialist Party Alleges Laplaine Illegally Holds Office Since 2024
Portugal's Socialist Party (PS) has accused Laplaine of illegally occupying the position of secretary-general since 2024, arguing that a law limits consecutive terms to 10 years. Leitão stated that Laplaine "is not in a condition to reassume the position normally."
