Czech City Commemorates WWII Heroine Maria Pětrošová

A Stolperstein, or 'stone of the disappeared,' has been placed in Frýdek-Místek to commemorate Maria Pětrošová, who helped refugees and resistance fighters escape to Poland before being taken to Ravensbrück concentration camp in 1940, where she died.
