Marcos swears in Mercado as DOH chief, Ho as PhilHealth head

MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Tuesday administered the oath of office to newly appointed Acting Health Secretary Edwin Mercado and Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) President and Chief Executive Officer Beverly Lorraine Ho. The oath-taking ceremonies were held in Malacañang a day after their appointments were announced by Palace Press Officer Claire Castro.
