Marmalade Reclaims Name After EU Law Implementation
Following the implementation of new EU law, marmalade products in Germany are once again permitted to be labeled as "marmalade." This decision resolves a previous dispute over the naming convention for fruit spreads.

Was bislang Konfitüre heißen musste, darf nun wieder Marmelade genannt werden. Eine entsprechende EU-Richtlinie ist in deutsches Recht umgesetzt worden. Auch bei der Kennzeichnung von Honig gibt es Änderungen.
