Ponad 10 lat temu, 1,6 tysiąca klientów biura podróży Alfa Star, utknęło za granicą, gdy spółka upadła. Po latach śledztwo zostało umorzone. Śledczy, badając kilka wątków, nie dopatrzyli się popełnienia przestępstwa. Nie znaleźli też wystarczających dowodów, pozwalających na przedstawienie zarzutów.
