Allegations of Police Interference in Kula Local Elections

Preliminary results from the Municipal Election Commission in Kula, Serbia, show the ruling SNS coalition narrowly defeated the 'Glas mladih opštine Kula' list, amidst allegations of police and 'black-hooded' individuals preventing a victory for the opposition.

Sprega crnokapuljaša i policije sprečila pobedu u Kuli

Prema preliminarnim rezultatima Opštinske izborne komisije u Kuli, lista "Glas mladih opštine Kula" osvojila je 11.327 glasova, a vladajuća koalicija okupljena oko SNS - 11.796 glasova. Prema najnovijim podacima sa sajta RIK-a, vladajuća koalicija je dobila 49,49 odsto glasova, odnosno 19 mandata (SNS - 14 mandata, SVM - dva mandata, SPS - jedan mandat i SRS - jedan mandat), a "Glas mladih..." 47,53 odsto, odnosno 18 mandata.
