Nagpur rape accused in ICU, survivor battles scars in general ward of same hospital

A 19-year-old Thane youth was moved to the ICU after complaining of health issues. He is accused of holding a teenage girl captive and sexually torturing her. The survivor underwent plastic surgery for deep wounds inflicted by a surgical blade. Police are seeking cyber experts to unlock seized mobile phones for clues. The accused demanded VIP treatment and refused to cooperate with the investigation.
