Japan's MEXT Holds First Committee Meeting on Improper Statistical Use

Japan's Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) held the inaugural meeting of a new committee on October 27. The committee, composed of experts, was established to review statistical content and prevent recurrence of improper statistical operations, such as those found in the School Basic Survey.
