Garda Fails in High Court Bid to Prevent Dismissal Over Drink-Driving Conviction

A serving member of An Garda Síochána (Irish police) has failed in a High Court attempt to prevent his dismissal following a drink-driving conviction. The officer was found to be four times over the legal limit when stopped in 2022.
