Retired Monaghan couple jailed after abducting neighbour's cat and leaving it to die in a plastic bag

A retired couple were handed jail terms for their “cruel, horrendous and unspeakable” cruelty to their next door neighbour’s cat who they stole and left to die after dumping it at the side of a lake.
