UK Regulator Proposes Large Deposits for Data Centre Power Demands
The UK's energy regulator has suggested that data centres should pay hundreds of millions in deposits to cover their significant future power demands. A fee ranging from £237,500 to £712,500 per megawatt is proposed for upcoming projects.
