Archeologen hebben in Nijmegen het grootste Romeinse badhuiscomplex van Nederland blootgelegd. Bij opgravingen in het gebied Waalfront zijn woningen, straten, een toren en duizenden archeologische voorwerpen gevonden. In 1992 was al een deel van de thermen (het badhuiscomplex) gevonden, nu er gebouwd gaat worden op het terrein is ook de rest van het gebied grondig onderzocht en het gehele badhuis blootgelegd.
