Finnish NBI Investigates PKK Financing Suspects

NBI: Four suspected of financing PKK in Finland

Finland’s National Bureau of Investigation has completed a preliminary investigation into four people suspected of raising money for the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, and has sent the case to prosecutors for consideration of charges. Police launched the investigation in winter 2025 over suspected financing of a terrorist group. Investigators suspect several people took part in regular fundraising in Finland under the PKK’s name to support its activities.
