Fire at Hiroshima Ship Dismantling Site Mostly Extinguished, Evacuation Orders Lifted
A fire that broke out on May 14 at a ship dismantling site in Kure, Hiroshima Prefecture, has been largely extinguished as of 5 PM on May 16, according to the city. Consequently, all evacuation orders issued for the Ondo-cho Watari district have been lifted.
