First-year PG medical student found hanging in Ahmedabad college hostel

A 26-year-old first-year orthopaedics student, Chintan Parmar, was found hanging in his hostel room at Dr M K Shah Medical College in Ahmedabad. His roommate discovered the body, and doctors attempted resuscitation but declared him dead. Preliminary inquiries suggest he was under stress, though the exact reason for the extreme step is yet to be established.
