Foreign Minister Mogi held phone talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif on the evening of the 17th, strongly requesting the immediate cessation of acts threatening navigation safety in the Strait of Hormuz, and also called for appropriate measures to ensure the safety of all detained vessels, including Japanese-related ships.
