Former Mormon Leader Pleads Guilty to Child Sex Crimes

He was expelled from Church over child abuse, was reinstated and then he committed another heinous child sex crime

A former Mormon church leader has pleaded guilty to child sex crimes. Wade S. Christofferson admitted to coercing and enticing minors in federal court. He was previously removed and later reinstated by the church over earlier allegations. The investigation began after a sexually explicit FaceTime call with a child. Christofferson faces a mandatory minimum of ten years in prison.
