Fresh violence in Manipur as 20 houses in 3 villages set ablaze

Fresh violence erupted in Manipur's Kamjong district as unidentified attackers torched over 20 houses across three villages. Phaimol, a Kuki village, was set ablaze, followed by suspected retaliatory attacks on Tangkhul Naga villages. While security forces intervened, several structures were damaged. Investigations are underway to identify the perpetrators, with a Kuki group condemning the attacks and alleging involvement of armed cadres.
