German Government Reverses Plan to Generally Cut Sick Pay in Health Reform Draft
The German government has presented a new draft for health insurance reform, deciding against a general reduction in sick pay, a move particularly advocated against by SPD Labor Minister Bas. The federal government also plans to gradually increase its contribution to healthcare costs for basic income recipients.
