Ghana Establishes Committee for National Database on Shrines and Religious Sites

Ghana's Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has announced the formation of a committee to create a comprehensive national database of shrines and other religious sites across the country.

Gov’t paid GH¢107m to 9,090 assembly members in 2025 – Ahmed Ibrahim

The Minister for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs, Ahmed Ibrahim, has revealed that the government has disbursed GH¢107 million in allowances to all 9,090 Assembly Members across the country, exceeding the GH¢100 million allocation captured in the 2025 Budget.
