The Deputy Presidential Spokesperson, Shamima Muslim, speaking on behalf of the Chief of Staff, Julius Debrah, has reaffirmed the government's commitment to responsible mining while acknowledging unresolved grievances over environmental damage, displacement and land-use conflicts in mining communities.
