Supreme Court marks 150 years of service

The Judiciary of Ghana has announced plans to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Supreme Court of Ghana, marking a century and a half of its establishment and service to the nation. The Court was established on March 31, 1876, under the Supreme Court Ordinance drafted by Sir David Patrick Chalmers, who later became the first Chief Justice of the Gold Coast.
