Segja má að jökulhlaup sem hófst í Múlakvísl þann 19. ágúst sé lokið, ekki hefur þótt tilefni til gasmælinga síðan 20. ágúst en þó er enn ástæða til að sýna aðgát í nágrenni við svæðið. Áfram verður fylgst með ástandinu kynni eitthvað að breytast.
