Hartmanice Mountain Synagogue Celebrates 20 Years of Public Access

The mountain synagogue in Hartmanice, Czech Republic, is celebrating 20 years of being open to the public. To mark the occasion, it has been placed under the administration of the Šumava Museum.

Už 20 let je horská synagoga v Hartmanicích otevřená veřejnosti. A k těmto kulatým narozeninám si nadělila speciální dárek – nově totiž spadá pod Muzeum Šumavy. Předtím patřila Michalu Klímovi, který ji společně se spolkem Památník Hartmanice právě před 20 lety odkoupil a obnovil. „Hlavní změnou pro návštěvníky je pozměnění otevírací doby,“ popisuje pro Český rozhlas Plzeň odborný průvodce Radek Vlach.
