Hidalgo Residents Protest Landfill Project Over Water Contamination Fears

Residents from six municipalities in Mexico's Valle del Mezquital, Hidalgo, protested against the 'Siete Mezquites' landfill project, fearing it will contaminate the aquifer and springs that supply water to approximately 300,000 people.
